Moonstone Craft Supplies Standard Terms & Conditions (the small print!)
When purchasing from this website you are agreeing to our terms and conditions and we recommend that you print a copy for your own reference.
We are not currently required to be VAT registered and as such there is no VAT charged on any transactions on this site. Should this situation change at least 30 days advance notice will be given on this webpage.
This website uses a stock control system, everything listed should be in stock. However, this is not infallible. Should an item be out of stock we aim to contact you within one working day to discuss the options, if you have provided a contact email address or telephone number.
If we have no working email address or telephone number on file we will either delay dispatch (for not more than 3 working days) until new stock is received or dispatch the in stock items and refund for those out of stock.
We do our best to ensure that information on this site is up to date and accurate. However items may vary slightly. All dimensions are nominal and a tolerance of +/- 5% should be considered normal.
Prices on this website are an invitation to treat - errors and omissions excepted (E&OE).
We accept on-line instant electronic payment by PayPal.
Direct Bank Transfer: We are happy to accept this method of payment and will email our account number and sort code upon request.
Cheque: We would rather you did not pay by cheque. If you do you must inform us of your intention within 3 days of your purchase & the cheque must be received within 7 days. If paying by personal cheque goods may only be dispatched after payment has cleared. Please make cheques payable to 'Mrs L Ingleton' and write the your order number and address on the reverse.
Cash: We only accept cash payments for self-collection (see below)
UNITED KINGDOM - Standard UK delivery is £1.90. If your order is particularly urgent we recommend upgrading to 'Priority Delivery' at the checkout. Standard delivery is usually within 5 working days and priority delivery is usually within 3 working days. We are currently unable to offer guaranteed next day delivery.
EUROPE & REST OF WORLD - We are not currently able to offer overseas shipping
Self-Collection: If you live in the vicinity of NE Hampshire you are welcome to collect your items by prior arrangement, thus saving all the P&P fees.
Method of dispatch: Most of our UK packages are sent by Royal Mail. Larger parcels are sent by courier (usually DHL or UPS). Items are generally dispatched within two working days of payment clearing*. If you have not received your item(s) after 5 working days please contact us**.
*Generally we do not dispatch items until payment has cleared. However we may do so, at our discretion, under the following criteria; IF the order value is under £10 AND the buyer is an existing customer. In which case items remain the property of Moonstone Craft Supplies until payment clears.
** Please note that you should allow 28 days for delivery. We cannot be held responsible for courier delays and consequential loss. Refunds for items delivered within 28 days will be on the basis of unwanted goods (see below).
Packaging: We constantly strive to pack our items so no damage occurs whilst minimising both the packing cost and environmental impact. If you feel your item(s) were not sufficiently well packed, even if no damage occurred (or indeed if they were over-packaged) please let us know so we can modify our packing. Wherever possible we recycle packing material and would encourage you to recycle the packaging we have used.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Please contact us before returning any goods.
Faulty or damaged goods: contact us as soon as possible to explain the problem and arrange for the goods to be returned at our expense and for an immediate refund or replacement to be arranged. However, please note, if the listing states 'contents . . may vary, but will be of equal or greater value' variation of the contents may not be considered grounds for refund/replacement under this clause
Unwanted Goods: May be returned within 30 days, at the purchaser's expense, for a full refund excluding delivery charge - provided they are in resalable condition. This also applies to packages returned by Royal Mail (or other couriers) as 'undeliverable', 'not called for' etc (if requested these may be re-sent but additional postage will be charged at cost, which may be greater than any applicable P&P promotion).
Where payment is processed via credit card, credit card numbers are held on a secure server until the payment is processed and then immediately deleted.
Any personal information that you provide will not be passed to third parties unless we are ordered to by a court of law. Your details will be held securely and will not be used for any purpose other than in relation to your transaction.
We operate an opt in e-mailing list. If you select this option your details will be held securely and will only be used by ourselves and not passed to any third parties. We will not email you more than 6 times a year and you may unsubscribe at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org (every email will also contain details of how to unsubscribe)
Two types of cookies are used on this site neither of which are in any way harmful or linked to advertising. The first is a shopping basket cookie which is essential to retain items in your shopping basket prior to checking out. The second is a Google Analytics basic tracking cookie which helps us optimise the website. It does not retain any of your personal information, it simply notes how you found our website and which pages you visit on our site. It does not give us any information on pages you visit after you have left our website.
